OUR EDITORIAL APPROACH

Clear sources. Honest limits.

Source selection

We use public advice from organisations with an established animal-welfare remit and link to the relevant page beside each guide. The source library identifies exactly which sources inform this site. Source links were checked on October 16, 2026; an access check is not a claim that every linked page will remain unchanged.

From advice to a practical guide

We retain a small set of factual source notes, then write our own household application: a preparation sequence, a decision question or an observation format. We do not scrape and republish full articles, republish a source page's images without permission or imply that a source organisation authored our worksheets.

Examples, observations and claims

Examples illustrate how to write a useful note. They are not observations of animals we tested. User-entered planner notes remain the user's own record. We do not invent product specifications, prices, review counts, results, quotations, professional biographies or universal schedules. There are no product endorsements or ranking scores.

Writing assistance and attribution

AI assistance was used to draft and structure the text and create the site code. The displayed editorial credit identifies this website, not a fictional expert. Photographs are licensed stock images from the free Unsplash collection. Each site publishes photographer and license links on its photo credits page. Images provide context, not evidence of product testing or a demonstration of every step. The SVG paw mark is a brand icon.

Scope and corrections

Coverage is limited to everyday care, equipment questions, play, reward-based training and household environments. Content does not diagnose an animal or provide treatment. Use the linked original source for its full context and appropriate qualified help for an individual problem. A correction should identify the page, statement, proposed change and supporting source.
